The family of DJ Dimplez, real name Tumi Mooi, can’t say enough about the depth to which the artist’s death leaves a void in their lives.

A private funeral service to bid farewell to the hip hop DJ was held on Friday, with his relatives and friends speaking candidly about the final moments of his life following his death last week on Sunday. Dimplez’ cousin David Mooi detailed the events after the former was taken to hospital.

“When the family arrived at the hospital on Friday after he was admitted, they noticed that he could not speak due to his condition. We were then told that Tumi was brain dead and nothing could be done. done for him. When a person is like that, you start to understand that God made a call,” David said.
