With faith in God, Karen never gave up and is now ready to tell her story in a two-part International Women’s Month special with Kaila Estrada portraying her on “MMK” on the 12th (Saturday) and 19th (Saturday). ) March.

Karen said sharing her life story in “MMK” was a dream come true. She said: “I can’t believe my story would finally be shared. I’m a big fan of ‘MMK.’ Inside the cell, we watched it every Saturday and talked about how we dreamed of being in it.

“This sharing is not to free me, but to free a lot of people and make them realize that life is good. The people there, their spirits are imprisoned even if they are not in prison. I just want let them know what happened to me five years ago and look where you are, you are in a more privileged situation. Let’s set each other free,” she added.

For Kaila portraying Karen’s life, she admired Karen’s strength and positivity amid the hardships she faced.

“She’s the epitome of a strong woman to me. I can’t imagine going through what she’s been through. The fact that she’s positive and her fighting spirit to fight no matter what is thrown at her. It was so inspiring. My main conclusion is that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. She found purpose and she did a favor to others and to herself given what she was facing. “, she said.

Karen, who participated in ABS-CBN’s “I Do” reality competition, lived a wonderful life as a DJ and model, but her life took a 360˚ turn after visiting her boyfriend a morning after doing his radio show. Within seconds of arriving, the police swarmed the place and arrested them in connection with an operation to buy illegal drugs.
