Polin Aquariums in charge of life support systems for Vietnam’s new Sea Shell Aquarium

Polin Aquariums announced that Seashell aquarium opened in Vinwonders Phu Quoc, the largest theme park in Vietnam. It is one of the largest aquariums with over 20 million liters (5.3 million gallons) of water.

VinWonders Phu Quoc covers six subdivisions including Medieval Europe, Magic World, Secret Village, Ocean Palace, Cyclone World, and Adventure World, and 12 unique stories inspired by human civilization. Following the successful completion of the water park by Polin Waterparks, Polin Aquariums designed the life support systems for the entire aquarium and supplied, installed and commissioned the life support systems including the automation and the BMS. With nearly 70 compact filtration units, 14 record MS-1000 protein skimmers manufactured by ADEC (certified by official world records) and a total of 92 skimmers installed for this valuable project. All components of the life support system have been configured to ensure the best filtration solution for Sea Shell Aquarium marine life.

The total volume of filtered water in the aquarium is 20,486 cubic meters (5.4 million gallons) and in one hour, 26,367 cubic meters (nearly 7 million gallons) of water circulates through the filtration systems. survival. Polin Aquariums spent 56,250 man-hours on site and installed 16,500 kilometers (10,250 miles) of PVC pipe including 750 millimeter diameter pipes with a hydraulic press installation method to provide smooth running capability in long-term use of these lines.
