Staff trained in basic resuscitation

Gitanjali Devashray, in collaboration with Yashoda Hospitals, Secunderabadunit, organized a unique offline training program on Basic Life Support or BLS for staff of all Gitanjali Group schools under its banner at its premises.

BLS is a level of medical care that is used for victims of life-threatening
illnesses or injuries until they can receive full medical care by an advanced resuscitation system
suppliers.

Dr Ranjit Kumar Konduru MBBS, DEM (RCGP), MRCEM (RCEM, UK), HOD and consultant, Department of Emergency Medicine and trainer for ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support, BLS – Basic Life Support, PALS / NALS – Pediatric / Neo -Natal Life Support, ATLS – Advanced Trauma Life Support, with resident Dr Sainath, as well as Anand William, Deputy Director of Emergency Services, led the two and a half hour training session, during which they divided the whole workshop into three parts, namely
first aid, BLS and triage and explained in clear and lucid language,
all aspects of processes using PowerPoint
presentations and other aids.

In addition to imparting extremely valuable knowledge about the BLS, physicians offered one-on-one hands-on experience in cardiopulmonary resuscitation or CPR to all participants.

The training session, as well as the question-and-answer tour, provided a great opportunity for participants to prepare and deal with others, in the event of an unforeseen situation.
